Hello, I’m the unknown Kamirel. This is my book. I hope you don’t skip ahead to the next post – this is important.
I write this at an important but tragic time in history. The pandemic rages while we are plagued by problems aplenty, as we grapple with rights and injustice and attempt to forge a better nation. In this story, it is the same. The world the protagonists live in is a dangerous place with a broken system, and there are really two factions; those who are (figuratively) sheltered and oppressive, and those who are (literally) without shelter and oppressed. The book is a metaphor, and it stands for the peace of unification. “A house divided cannot stand” President Lincoln once said. A united house, however, will weather the strongest storms.
